A Whole Lot of Kids And Counting

The Duggar family of TLC’s “19 Kids And Counting” are making it 20 kids. This morning mother Michelle, father Jim Bob, and the whole Duggar clan went on the TODAY Show to reveal the news that they are in fact expecting another child to add to the family. That’s right the clan is going from 19 kids to the big number 20, and mom and dad and the crew could not be more excited.

This time around Michelle has been working closely with doctors to make certain the pregnancy is as healthy as possible. If you recall, her last pregnancy ended up having quite a few bumps along the way. She did admit last year that there might not be any more pregnancies in her future, but she and Jim Bob have always left their birth plan up to God choosing to not use birth control.

Breaking the news to the family involved a little trick when they were told to be present for a family photo. Once the group was together, Jim Bob shared the great news, “Smile–Mom’s going to have another baby!” The kids thought it was a joke at first, but after they realized it was true they were all ecstatic.

Many people very judgmental and strongly opinionated when it comes to the Duggar family, but I say congratulations! The family lives debt free and the children are happy and taken care of, isn’t that what matters most?
